Operatix has planted over 13,000 trees this year in an effort to offset the carbon footprint of their team members, continuing our efforts to keep sustainability at the forefront of our mind.
Having made a commitment to creating a greener future, Operatix made the decision to plant trees on behalf of clients rather than purchasing potentially wasteful gifts this Christmas.
This number of trees planted per client was calculated based on the number of resources assigned to them while working with the company. As well as this, the team planted 25 trees for every client referral and 100 for every deal closed throughout the year. This resulted in a total of 13,248 trees being funded by the business.
This achievement was set up and tracked via the Ecologi website, which supports a number of climate solutions across the world.
Planting trees is thought to be one of the best ways of tackling the climate crisis as they absorb harmful carbon dioxide and pollutants, slowing the rate of global warming.
