With 2020 presenting many challenges for everyone around the world, Operatix felt it would only be right to contribute to those less fortunate over the Christmas period, especially during a season that is filled with so much pressure on families.

Our mission was to try to help as many children have a special Christmas, wherever they may be spending it. Solely in the south of the UK, 132,000 children are living in poverty and often do not receive any kind of presents from ‘Father Christmas’.

We decided to integrate the incentive internally so that the entire company could be part of the programme. Every sales engagement generated by our team and sat by our clients would donate £10 / $15 to our fund, to aid in providing gifts for children in difficult positions.

The response from Operatix’s team was immense, and between beginning of November 2020, when the campaign was launched, until Christmas, almost 1,000 sales engagement have been sat across both teams, in Europe & North America.

To kick things off our US office began spreading the joy of gift giving in Mid December. They raised $1,608 worth of presents for underprivileged children in Dallas, Taxas. Rachel Goodman, our Office administrator in the US had the privilege of dropping off the gifts to the Salvation Army Angel Tree volunteer station.

The volunteers were so grateful for the toys that we were able to donate because donations have been smaller and less than the years before due to the pandemic. The presents we were able to buy were wrapped and passed out to children over Christmas. I’m so happy that we are a part of the joy these kids will be having this holiday.

In the UK, Operatix donated £6,795  to Mission for Christmas ‘Cash for Kids’, operated by Bauer Radio. With our donation, over 300 underprivileged children received a Christmas present in 2020.

We didn’t need more reason to be proud of Operatix, but are delighted to say that across all fundraisers of the UK campaign for ‘Cash for Kids’, Operatix raised the most amount of money: an incredible achievement, and we are filled with elation from these results.
